AEW Star Removed From Planned Dynamite Match

AEW Star Removed From Planned Dynamite Match

Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Paul Wight, and Kota Ibushi are scheduled to face Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher, and Brian Cage in a Street Fight on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. However, Cage wasn’t originally planned for the match.

Fightful Select reported that Sammy Guevara was planned for this Wednesday’s Street Fight before being injured last month.

Last September, Sammy Guevara turned on Chris Jericho and joined the Don Callis Family. Guevara last competed at WrestleDream, where he teamed up with Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay to defeat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi. He suffered a concussion during the bout.

Last week, Guevara posted an Instagram story and stated that he is still not medically cleared to compete.
