AEW Rampage Match Canceled Due To Star Refusing To Lose

AEW Rampage Match Canceled Due To Star Refusing To Lose

Last month, Metalik was supposed to wrestle Komander on AEW Rampage. The match was pulled from the show at the last minute.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that Komander was supposed to defeat Metalik in a singles match at the show. However, Metalik didn’t agree to put Komander over. Therefore, Tony Khan removed the bout from the card and booked three matches for that episode.

“The reason the 10/20 Rampage show had only three matches instead of four is because Komander vs. Metalik was booked for the show and then pulled when Metalik refused to put Komander over, Metalik still worked Collision a few days later but that can’t have helped his standing here.”

Note: Tony Khan was booked three matches for the October 27th episode of AEW Rampage.

Metalik last competed on the October 28th ROH tapings, where he competed against Angelico, Gringo Loco, and Slim J in a four-way match.
