Kairi Sane Addresses Fans After Her Final Match In STARDOM

Today, STARDOM held the Nagoya Golden Fight at Dolphins Arena in Nagoya, Japan. Kairi, Mayu Iwatani, and Nanae Takahashi faced STARS (Saya Iida, Hazuki & Koguma) in a Six-Woman Tag Team match at the event. Kairi picked up the victory for her team with a Diving Elbow Drop.

After the match, Kairi gave an emotional speech. The former IWGP Women’s Champion said that she is happy to wrestle her final match in Nagoya.

“Look at me! In your ShuPro interview, you said that you were “not greedy”, right? That’s a lie! Those tears are Koguma’s true feelings, right? You are really strong!

Hazuki too. Saya too! You’re strong! No matter what. Your this (heart) is strong, all three of you! Don’t lose to your past self! Don’t read the atmosphere! Go for it! You can definitely do it! I will never give up on you three.

I’ll be watching, okay? Mayu Iwatani, Nanae Takahashi. They are so strong, cute, strong, cute, cute… Sometimes they make cute mistakes, but I am really happy to be working with two really cool people who when they do it, they do it.

It wasn’t a long period of 1 and a half years, and I honestly don’t know if I was able to contribute to the development of STARDOM, but I gained so much from the wrestlers and learned so much from the three of them that I really feel reborn.

The ring always connects us, so let’s become stronger and meet again.

I am so happy to be able to have my last match like this today in Nagoya, which I missed last year. We are sisters. We will always be family.

Please continue to get along well with me as family, friends, and fellow pro-wrestling fans! Thank you very much!”

Last August, PWInsider reported that Kairi had agreed to sign a deal with WWE. In the same month, Kairi said in a press conference that she had received several offers from pro wrestling companies in the United States.

The 35-year-old star is still keeping her next move a secret. However, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer stated that Kairi could be returning to WWE in late November.
