Carmella was supposed to team up with Chelsea Green to compete in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team match against Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler & Ronda Rousey, and Natalya & Shotzi at WrestleMania 39.

However, the former Women’s Champion competed in a WWE Live Event on March 12th, where she teamed with Bayley Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, and Piper Niven to face Asuka, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, and Nikki Cross. Since then, She disappeared from WWE television.

This past Monday on RAW, Adam Peace added Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville to the Women’s WrestleMania Showcase qualifying match against Candice LeRae and Mia Yim. Deville and Green won the match and they are now scheduled to compete in the Fatal Four-Way Tag Team match at WrestleMania.

Fightful Select reported that Carmella has been sidelined for an undisclosed reason.

“A WWE source had indicated to Fightful earlier this week that Carmella had been “sidelined,” but didn’t indicate why. When Fightful asked about unsubstantiated rumors that circulated about her having heat, they were dismissed as “ridiculous” by WWE sources.”

As of Tuesday, Carmella is scheduled to appear for the “Make A Wish” event and a “Be A Star” Rally.
