WWE Night Of Champions 2023 Predictions, How To Watch, Start Time

WWE Night Of Champions 2023 Predictions, How To Watch, Start Time

Gunther vs. Mustafa Ali for the Intercontinental Championship

Last week on RAW, Mustafa Ali earned an Intercontinental Championship opportunity by winning a Battle Royal. This past Monday, Ali was interviewed by Byron Saxton. Brock Lesnar disrupted the interview and gave Ali a piece of valuable advice. Lesnar told Ali “Get a life, kid.” Our Prediction: Gunther retains his Intercontinental Championship.

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar

The storyline between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar began on the April 3rd episode of Monday Night RAW, where Lesnar turned heel and attacked Rhodes. The two stars then faced each other at the Backlash premium live event earlier this month. The American Nightmare picked up the victory in the match.

Cody Rhodes then competed in the second triple-threat match of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament. However, Brock Lesnar cost Cody Rhodes’ World Heavyweight Title opportunity and challenged him to a match at Night of Champions. This past Monday, Lesnar brutally attacked Rhodes, which resulted in Rhodes sustaining a broken arm (storyline).

The Beast is 0-1 in the feud. Therefore, Brock Lesnar should win this time to continue the storyline into SummerSlam. We don’t think they will collide at Money in the Bank on July 1st. Instead, Cody Rhodes could be in the Money in the Bank ladder match. So, Lesnar can cost Rhodes’ opportunity again. Our Prediction: Brock Lesnar wins the match.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. AJ Styles for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Two weeks ago, Seth Rollins advanced to the finals of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament by defeating Finn Balor on the May 8th episode of RAW. AJ Styles defeated Bobby Lashley to advance to the finals on the May 12th episode of SmackDown.

However, Seth Rollins and AJ Styles didn’t come face-to-face due to the brand split. Rollins also didn’t appear on Monday Night RAW since May 8th. Instead, WWE aired Rollins’ interview segments with Corey Graves. Meanwhile, Styles was involved in a brief feud with Karrion Kross.

Seth Rollins and AJ Styles are two of the very best in sports entertainment. Both of them deserve to be the champion. However, Triple H introduced the new title to protect the product from part-timer Roman Reigns. Rollins was recently spotted on the set of an MCU movie. Rollins could receive more opportunities in Hollywood. Hence, the fans deserve a full-time champion. Our Prediction: AJ Styles wins the World Heavyweight Championship.
