UFC Rankings Update: Dricus Du Plessis Climbs 5 Spots On P4P List, Israel Adesanya Falls 2 Spots

This past Saturday, Dricus Du Plessis submitted Israel Adesanya via rear-naked choke in round 4 to retain the Middleweight Title at UFC 305. With that victory, Du Plessis was able to soar five spots in the pound-for-pound rankings. Du Plessis ranked #6, while Adesanya fell two spots down and ranked #15.

Bantamweight Champion Sean O’Malley, Leon Edwards, Alexander Volkanovski, Interim Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall, and BMF Champion Max Holloway fell one spot down and ranked #7, #8, #9, #10, and #11, respectively. Sean Strickland climbed from #15 to #13 on the pound-for-pound rankings.

Kai Kara-France defeated Steve Erceg via TKO in round 1 at UFC 305. Erceg slipped one spot down on the flyweight and ranked #8. Kara-France ranked #4 on the list.

Dan Hooker defeated Mateusz Gamrot by split decision at UFC 305. With that victory, Hooker moved up six spots on the lightweight list and ranked #5. Gamrot fell three spots down and ranked #8.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik picked up a split decision win over Tai Tuivasa at UFC 305. Rozenstruik climbed from #12 to #10 in the heavyweight rankings and Tuivasa slipped three spots down and ranked #13.
