TNA Provides Update On El Hijo del Vikingo After Knee Injury

El Hijo del Vikingo faced Trent Seven at Sunday’s TNA iMPACT tapings in Detroit, Michigan. Vikingo suffered an injury after performing a springboard dive off the top rope.

TNA Wrestling announced that Vikingo sustained an injury to his right knee. The company added that Vikingo was discharged from the hospital on Sunday and flew home on Monday. The 27-year-old is on crutches and wearing a leg brace.

“[El Hijo del] Vikingo returned to the Detroit hotel Sunday night after being treated at the hospital for a right knee injury. He is on crutches and wearing a leg brace. Vikingo flew home to Mexico on Monday, where he will be examined and treated by his specialist.”
