Tai Tuivasa Issues Statement After 5th Consecutive Loss At UFC 305

This past Saturday, Tai Tuivasa faced Jairzinho Rozenstruik in a heavyweight bout at UFC 305 in Perth, Australia. Tuivasa lost to Rozenstruik by controversial split decision. It was Tuivasa’s fifth consecutive loss in MMA.

On X, Tai Tuivasa (15-8) commented on his UFC 305 loss to Jairzinho Rozenstruik (15-5). Tuivasa stated that MMA is not an easy sport, and he tried his best.

“All this really ain’t that easy. 😌
I try my best all the time I compete against the best of the best. I challenge myself all the time. Sometimes it’s worth it sometimes you question a lot.
I get hit I fall down but I will never stay down. We get up we keep moving!”

Tuivasa’s losing streak started with the fight against Ciryl Gane at UFC Fight Night on September 3rd, 2022. He lost the fight via third-round KO. Tuivasa has lost to Sergei Pavlovich, Alexander Volkov, and Marcin Tybura in the past two years.
