Here are the spoilers for the December 22nd episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
- Santos Escobar defeated Bobby Lashley with help from Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo to advance to the finals of the United States Championship tournament.
- Dragon Lee defeated Butch to retain the NXT North American Championship.
- AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and LA Knight had an in-ring promo segment. Each of them said that they wanted to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. General Manager of SmackDown Nick Aldis later announced AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton vs. LA Knight for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title opportunity at the New Year’s Revolution episode of SmackDown. The winner of that match will face Roman Reigns for the title at Royal Rumble.
- Bianca Belair, Zelina Vega, Michin, and Shotzi defeated Damage CTRL (Bayley, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Iyo Sky) in a Holiday Havoc 8-Woman Tag Team match. During the match, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre attacked The Kabuki Warriors.
- Kevin Owens defeated Carmelo Hayes to advance to the finals of the United States Championship tournament.
- AJ Styles vs. Solo Sikoa ended in a disqualification after Roman Reigns attacked The Phenomenal One. There was a brawl involving Orton, Knight, and Styles with The Bloodline.
