WrestleMania 39 is scheduled to take place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Each year, the company announces the Hall of Fame inductees during WrestleMania season. However, WWE hasn’t announced anyone this year yet.
WrestlingNews.co has reported that Batista who retired from in-ring competition at WrestleMania 35 would be the headliner for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
Batista was supposed to induct into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020. The company didn’t hold the ceremony in 2020 due to the global pandemic. Therefore, Batista requested WWE to induct him at a future ceremony.
Recently, WrestleVotes reported that WWE discussed the former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia to induct into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. They also noted that Japanese wrestling legend Great Muta could be inducted into the Hall of Fame as well.
Last year, a rumor circulated that Vince McMahon will induct into the 2023 Hall of Fame. WrestleVotes denied that rumor.
