Santos Escobar To Lead Faction With Two Star On SmackDown

By The Spotlight StaffNovember 24, 2023
Santos Escobar To Lead Faction With Two Star On SmackDown

Two weeks ago, Carlito accused Santos Escobar over Rey Mysterio’s United States Title loss at Crown Jewel. Escobar then attacked the WWE Hall of Famer. Rey later announced on Instagram that he had successfully undergone knee surgery.

Last week, Santos Escobar attacked his former LWO teammates, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro on SmackDown. Escobar said that he doesn’t need them.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that the original plan was for Wilde and Del Toro to join Escobar’s side. They were supposed to feud with Rey Mysterio, Carlito, and Dragon Lee. However, the creative team changed the plan. As of now, Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo are slated to join Escobar.
