The storyline between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio began after Dominik attacked his father at Clash at the Castle PLE in September. Dominik then aligned with Judgment Day and bothered Rey for the past several months.
Rey Mysterio defeated Ex-con Dom on night one of WrestleMania 39. Many fans state that Rey & Dominik’s storyline is one of the most compelling storylines on WWE television.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently appeared on the Impaulsive podcast, where Rey stated how the feud with Dominik should end.
“Maybe I put my mask on the line against his hair, which is some lucha culture. If I lose that, I take my mask off. If he loses, he shaves his hair off. That might be interesting.”
Father and son are scheduled to compete once again at Backlash PLE. This time Rey will team up with Bad Bunny to take on Dominik and Damian Priest in a Tag Team match.
