Last month, FTR defended their AEW World Tag Team Championships against Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal at Double or Nothing. At one point, the referee Aubrey Edwards attempted to get to the ring for her duty. Karen Jarret then stopped Edwards and smashed her head with a guitar. In the end, FTR was able to retain the title.

This past Friday on Rampage, Karen Jarret called out Aubrey Edwards. Both women then got into a heated verbal confrontation. The referee said that she wanted to fight Karen.

Mark Briscoe then came to the ramp and announced that the AEW officials have agreed to a Mixed Tag Team match. Briscoe said that he will team up with Aubrey Edwards and Papa Briscoe to face Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, and Jay Lethal in a Mixed Trios match. However, the date and location for the bout didn’t announce yet.
