Robert Roode joined WWE in 2016 and made his in-ring debut on the June 11th NXT Live Event. Roode had a great run on NXT. However, his run on the main roster is not that impressive.

The former NXT Champion last competed on the June 25th WWE Live Event, where he lost to Omos. Last December, Roode posted several photos on Instagram and revealed that he had successfully undergone neck fusion surgery for his C-5 and C-6 vertebrae.

The Glorious One is still under contract with the company. Fightful Select reported that Roode will be out of action for a long time due to neck fusion surgery.

“For those asking about Bobby Roode, he’s been sidelined for a year, but didn’t get his fusion until late last year. He’s still expected to be out quite some time.”

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
