Robert Roode had a great pro wrestling career in Impact and even on NXT. However, Roode received a lackluster run after arriving on the WWE main roster. The Glorious One last competed on the June 25th WWE Live Event, where he faced Omos. He was unable to win the match.
Last month, Robert Roode posted a few photos on Instagram and stated that he went to Birmingham, Alabama to receive treatment. At the time, Roode did not provide details about which kind of injury he suffered.
Today, Robert Roode announced that he had successfully undergone neck fusion surgery for his C-5 and C-6 vertebrae. He posted several photos to Instagram and stated the following.
“Big thank you to Dr Andy Cordover and his amazing staff at Andrews sports medicine and St Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham Alabama
C5/6 fusion is complete. Now the work begins.
Recovery and Rehabilitation.
Looking forward to the challenge”
We wish Robert Roode a fast and full recovery.
