Matt Hardy Takes Credit For AEW Rampage Viewership Boost

This past Friday’s AEW Rampage featured The Hardys, Chris Jericho, Hikaru Shida, and several other wrestlers. Matt & Jeff Hardy teamed up with Mark Briscoe to defeat Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade in the opening match.

The January 5th episode of AEW Rampage drew 406,000 viewers, with 0.14 in the 18-49 demographic. This is the first time Rampage has surpassed 400,000 viewers since the October 13th episode.

On X, Matt Hardy stated that the AEW Rampage viewership was boosted because of The Hardys.

“That’s what happens when you’re The Tag Team GOATs, @austinblair! Myself & @JEFFHARDYBRAND are benevolent #LivingLegends.

Jeff predicted a ratings boost, BTW..”
