Earlier this month, Roman Reigns successfully retained his Undisputed WWE Universal Title by defeating Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat at SummerSlam. Later, Paul Heyman appeared at the SummerSlam post-show press conference on behalf of The Tribal Chief. Heyman said that The Bloodline storyline is still in the third inning.
However, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle wasn’t agreed with the Wise Man. During the “Kurt Angle Show” podcast, Angle said that “the storyline is great, I love it, but I think Heyman was full of s–t. I think they’re in the eighth inning, and they’re stressed. They’re making s–t up now. That’s what I believe. Paul Heyman, I know him, and I know that he’s probably going crazy right now, ‘What do we do next?”
Paul Heyman responded to Kurt Angle on X and stated that “at least we’re not looking for exposure thru the next Old Timer’s Day.”
No matter what inning we’re in, at least we’re not looking for exposure thru the next Old Timer’s Day.

Ahem.
And just for the record, I typed this tweet with a broken freakin’ fingernail!#Bloodline @WWE @WWERomanReigns @WWESoloSikoa https://t.co/1pWzSPcHmY
On the latest episode of the “Kurt Angle Show” podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer responded to the Wise Man.
“Whether it’s true or not, at least Paul Heyman has some thick skin. He wasn’t real serious about that. I don’t think so. I think he was joking back..
But what I said about that, whether I’m right or not, put it this way, most storylines that they do, they don’t know the complete end to it anyway. They just keep going and going, and they keep adding to it, then they take away, then they add more to it. You just don’t know when it’s gonna be done…
The Bloodline, this storyline has been incredible. It’s been really entertaining, I’m not gonna lie to you. But I think he is in the eighth inning, and he’s wondering, what the hell do we do next? But I’m excited to see what happens.”
