Iyo Sky made her main roster debut alongside Bayley and Dakota Kai at last year’s SummerSlam. A year later, Sky became the WWE Women’s Champion by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Bianca Belair at SummerSlam earlier this month.
Iyo Sky last competed on the August 25th episode of SmackDown, where she successfully retained the WWE Women’s Title by defeating Zelina Vega. Despite being the champion, Sky hasn’t been able to receive reactions from the audience. She isn’t booked for Payback PLE. It seems like WWE has no idea about what should do with Sky.
On the Keeping It 100 podcast, Konnan said that Iyo Sky has no charisma and the WWE Women’s Champion isn’t an interesting character on SmackDown.
“She has no charisma, and I am into her storyline now, well I was into it because she just cashed in that Money In The Bank thing. But they are separating her and Bayley and it’s kind of funny how her and Bayley were going back and forth and doing one-upmanship, but yeah, she’s not an interesting character whatsoever. She hasn’t been interesting to me on viewing that show, period.”
