This past Saturday, CM Punk made his shocking return to WWE at Survivor Series. Punk appeared on Monday Night RAW, delivering his first promo in nine years.
The former WWE Champion said that he’s finally home. CM Punk then said that his wife, former WWE star AJ Lee, “is fabulous, and she sends her regards.” Punk revealed that he came to WWE not to make friends but to make money.
The locker room has warmly welcomed CM Punk, and the company treats him as a legend. PWInsider reported that “Punk came in as if he wasn’t above anyone else, and he was friendly with everyone. Punk was described as happy to be there.”
In an interview with James Williams, Kevin Owens was asked about his thoughts on CM Punk’s WWE return. Owens said that he wanted to have fun. Owens added that as long as Punk has the same mindset, he’s okay with it.
“I just wanna have fun at work, so if he’s got that mindset, great.”
