Jose Aldo Reportedly Set To Fight At UFC 307

UFC 307 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 5th at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. AG Fight reported that Jose Aldo (32-8) is set to face Mario Bautista (14-2) in a bantamweight bout at the event.

Jose Aldo last competed at UFC 301, where he defeated Jonathan Martinez (19-5) via unanimous decision. It was Aldo’s final fight on the UFC contract. However, it seems like Aldo has re-signed with the promotion.

Aldo is currently ranked #8 in the bantamweight division, while Mario Bautista is ranked #12. Bautista last competed on January 13th at UFC Fight Night, where he defeated Ricky Simon (20-6) via unanimous decision.

The following fights have been announced for UFC 307 so far.

  • Women’s Bantamweight Title: Raquel Pennington (c) vs. Julianna Peña.
  • Featherweight: Movsar Evloev vs. Aljamain Sterling.
  • Women’s Strawweight: Marina Rodriguez vs. Iasmin Lucindo.
  • Middleweight: César Almeida vs. Ihor Potieria.
  • Middleweight: Chris Curtis vs. Kevin Holland.
  • Bantamweight: José Aldo vs. Mario Bautista.
