Jon Moxley Teases Taking Time Off From AEW

By The Spotlight StaffNovember 29, 2023
Jon Moxley Teases Taking Time Off From AEW

Last year, Jon Moxley dropped the AEW World Championship to CM Punk at All Out. Moxley was supposed to go on a vacation for six weeks. However, Moxley had to cancel plans due to the All Out backstage brawl.

Last September, Jon Moxley suffered a mild concussion during the match against Rey Fenix. However, he returned to AEW television on the October 21st episode of Collision.

In an interview with Liam Crowley of ComicBook, Jon Moxley stated that he would take a vacation at some point. Moxley also said AEW needs him right now because of the Continental Classic and many other reasons.

“I don’t even think I was going to go anywhere. I don’t know, maybe at some point [I’ll take time off]. I guess I feel that there’s always something to do, ‘Oh, we need a main event.’ ‘Oh, we got this Continental Classic.’ There’s always something around the corner.”
