John Laurinaitis Responds To Janel Grant Lawsuit Before Court

By The Spotlight StaffMarch 21, 2024
John Laurinaitis Responds To Janel Grant Lawsuit Before Court

Last January, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. In the suit, the former WWE employee alleged that McMahon and Laurinaitis used her for their own personal satisfaction and to secure talent deals.

Vince McMahon denied the allegations and resigned from the TKO board and Executive Chairman positions in January. John Laurinaitis claimed through his lawyer that he was a victim of McMahon.

PWInsider has obtained a court document and it was revealed that John Laurinaitis filed a waiver of service on Wednesday before the U.S. District Court of Connecticut. That means Laurinaitis informed the court that he was aware of the suit and would respond within 60 days. He is the first defendant to respond before the court.
