Ilja Dragunov Out Of Action With An Injury

This past Saturday, WWE held a live event at the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, Georgia. Ilja Dragunov faced Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at the show. Unfortunately, Dragunov sustained an injury during the match.

Joe Tessitore revealed on the September 30th episode of RAW that they suspect Ilja Dragunov has suffered a torn ACL during the World Heavyweight Title match. The Mad Dragon will be out of action for six to nine months.

The 30-year-old called up to the main roster last April.

BREAKING: @UNBESIEGBAR_ZAR sustained an injury during a match with @Gunther_AUT this past weekend. He is expected to be out 6-9 months. We wish Dragunov a speedy recovery. #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/vAfNCzd6KK
