Marca reported that Ilia Topuria is scheduled to defend his Featherweight Title against No. 2 ranked Max Holloway at UFC 308. They also noted that Topuria and Holloway have verbally agreed to fight this October.
Ilia Topuria last competed at UFC 298, where he won the UFC Featherweight Championship by defeating Alexander Volkanovski via second-round knockout. UFC 308 will be Topuria’s first title defense.
Max Holloway last fought at UFC 300, where he won the BMF Title by defeating Justin Gaethje at 4:59 in the fifth round. Holloway earned the Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night prizes for the amazing performance.
