Last month, John Cena made his huge return at Money in the Bank. He will face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam on this Saturday. The 16-time world Champion faced numerous legendary superstars throughout his career, but he has never faced Goldberg in the squared circle.
During an interview with DAZN, Goldberg revealed he would like to wrestle John Cena.
“Cena, that’s always been a dream. Never been in the ring with him. We’re two completely different characters. Hey, you never know.“
Goldberg also talked about potential match against Roman Reigns.
“Obviously, I want Roman bad. I want a piece of somebody from Georgia Tech. Like, I can taste it. The comparisons, the football background, I truly believe that’s a match that needs to happen. Am I clamoring for it? Am I begging for it? Am I holding my breath for it? No, I do what my job asks me to do. I do what my boss asks me to do to the best of my ability, and then I ask for them to point me in the next direction. I’m not a booking agent. I’m not on the booking committee. They don’t pay me to be in creative.“
Goldberg will challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship in Las Vegas on this Saturday.
According to Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast, WWE is going to Saudi Arabia on October 21st for its next pay-per-view. Maybe Vince will book John Cena vs Goldberg dream match at Saudi Arabia. Because Saudi prince is a huge fan of Goldberg.
As Zarian’s reported last week King of the Ring & Queen of the Ring final matches will also schedule to take place at this pay-per-view.
