AEW has been developing its first video game AEW: Fight Forever. The company has released several gameplays and many fans are satisfied with the game. There’s no exact release date has been announced yet and the company is planning to release the game this year.

Several AEW wrestlers have already confirmed for the game, except former AEW Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.

Fightful Select reported that FTR was pulled from the AEW: Fight Forever video game. They stated that Harwood and Wheeler were supposed to include in the game but were removed by the spring of 2022. Fightful added that “FTR were informed of the call, and weren’t too happy about it, as being involved in video games usually also comes with a significant bonus.”

There’s no report about why the FTR was removed from the game. FTR is currently holding the AAA World Tag Team Title, ROH Tag Team Title, and the IWGP Tag Team Title. They are scheduled to team up with Wardlow to take on Jay Lethal and The Motor City Machine Guns on September 4th at All Out in Chicago, Illinois.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
