Ronda Rousey last competed on WWE television on the December 30th edition of Friday Night SmackDown. In that episode of SmackDown Rousey successfully retained her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Raquel Rodriguez.

However, she once again put her title on the line against the returning Charlotte Flair. Rousey lost to Charlotte in a quick fashion. She then disappeared from WWE television. Ronda Rousey was advertised for the RAW’s 30th-anniversary show and a few days ago she was pulled from the show.

Despite being absent on WWE television, the company has a plan for The Baddest Woman on the Planet at WrestleMania 39. You can read more details by clicking here.

Tonight’s SmackDown is scheduled to take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. PWInsider reported that Ronda Rousey was seen in Connecticut today, which means she will be returning to SmackDown tonight.

“We have heard from several readers in Connecticut that they’ve spotted Ronda Rousey today, so it would appear she is slated to return to WWE programming tonight.”

WWE has announced the following matches for the show.

  • SmackDown Tag Team Championship: The Usos vs. Braun Strowman & Ricochet
  • No. 1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship: Rey Mysterio vs. Karrion Kross vs. Madcap Moss vs. Santos Escobar
