This past Wednesday, Darby Allin faced Jay White at AEW Dynamite: Big Business. Allin was supposed to take time off from All Elite Wrestling after the match against White to climb Mount Everest. However, Allin had to change his plan due to an injury.
TMZ reported that the former AEW World Tag Team Champion suffered a broken foot during the match against White. The injury occurred after delivering a front flip off the top rope. TMZ noted that Allin broke three bones in his foot.
Darby Allin sustained the injury less than two minutes into the match. However, Allin continued to wrestle despite being injured. Jay White picked up the victory, and later Bullet Club Gold turned on Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed.
TMZ noted that Darby Allin has trained for six months to climb Mount Everest. He has postponed the plan for next year.
