Darby Allin is one of the toughest wrestlers on the AEW roster. Darby often takes scary bumps to entertain the audience. Therefore, many fans are concerned about his well-being.
Some in the industry criticize Darby Allin’s reckless wrestling style and say he won’t be walking by the age of 30. However, he proved everyone wrong.
The 31-year-old last competed on the January 17th episode of AEW Rampage, where he defeated Jeff Hardy.
In an interview with ROCK 106.1, Darby Allin said that Ric Flair has told him to slow down. The former TNT Champion said that he won’t take anyone’s advice.
“Ric Flair, a couple [of] weeks ago, he came up to me and like, ‘Darby, you need to slow down.’ I’m like, ‘Wait, what?’ ‘You’re crazier than Mick Foley.’ I’m like, ‘Getting advice from Ric Flair?’ What’s funny is, people don’t know how great I feel physically. I feel amazing, like nothing hurts. DDP [is] also, he’s like, ‘We have to put you in a lab. They have to test you out and see what’s going on because you’re not human.’ I feel amazing. I won’t stop doing it. Sorry for anybody trying to give me advice; all the people out there… telling me to slow down. I can’t, and I won’t.”
Darby Allin and Sting are scheduled to face Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the AEW World Tag Team Titles on the February 7th episode of AEW Dynamite.
