Last month, Dakota Kai and Bayley faced Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship on the May 12th episode of SmackDown. During the match, Liv Morgan suffered a torn shoulder and Dakota Kai also sustained a torn ACL.
Dakota Kai underwent surgery on Tuesday, May 23rd. She posted an Instagram story, wearing a knee brace.
Yesterday, Dakota Kai posted two photos of herself and revealed that she no longer needs the knee brace.

There’s no word on when Dakota Kai will return to the squared circle. Recently, Dave Meltzer noted that the former tag team champion could be out of action for six to nine months.
Meanwhile, fellow Damage Control members Bayley and Iyo Sky have qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match. However, WWE teased a breakup of the Damage CTRL in recent weeks.
