CM Punk’s Status For WWE Money In The Bank 2024

By The Spotlight StaffJune 17, 2024
CM Punk's Status For WWE Money In The Bank 2024

CM Punk suffered a torn right triceps after taking a Future Shock DDT from Drew McIntyre during the Men’s Royal Rumble match in January. However, Punk made occasional appearances on WWE television while recovering from the injury.

Since January, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have continued their rivalry at WWE events as well as on social media. This past Saturday, Punk cost McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Clash at the Castle.

During the Clash at the Castle post-show press conference, CM Punk said that he expected to be medically cleared by Friday. WrestleVotes reported that Punk will officially return at the end of July, as per the RAW roster sheet. They added that Punk would not be cleared by the date of the Money in the Bank event, but he is expected to be prepared for SummerSlam.

“As of last week’s RAW roster sheet, CM Punk’s official return date was set for the end of July. I’m told he likely won’t be cleared for action by MITB on 7/6, but he should be ready for SummerSlam on 8/3.”
