Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov UFC 308 Fight Reportedly Postponed

UFC 308 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 26 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Alexander Volkov (38-10) was supposed to face Ciryl Gane (12-2) in a heavyweight bout at the event. Unfortunately, the fight had to be postponed.

La Sueur reported that the rematch between Alexander Volkov and Ciryl Gane has been postponed to UFC 310 in December. They noted that Volkov is dealing with an injury.

“According to our sources, the rematch between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov has been postponed to #UFC310, on December 7 in Las Vegas, due to an injury to the Russian.”

Volkov last competed on June 22 at UFC Fight Night, where he defeated Sergei Pavlovich via unanimous decision.
