Charlotte Flair Removed From WWE Live Events

By The Spotlight StaffDecember 10, 2023
Charlotte Flair Removed From WWE Live Events

This past Friday on SmackDown, Charlotte Flair faced Asuka in a singles match. During the commercial break, both women slipped from the top of the turnbuckle and fell on the mat. Charlotte’s leg hit the rope when she fell. However, she was able to continue the bout.

At one point, Charlotte Flair twisted her left knee, and the match had to finish earlier due to that. Charlotte was checked by the medical team after the bout. She needed help from the referee and a medical person to walk backstage.

PWInsider reported that Charlotte Flair was supposed to compete in this weekend’s WWE live events in Utica, New York and State College, Pennsylvania. However, Charlotte was pulled from shows due to the injury scare.

“Charlotte Flair was originally scheduled for this weekend’s WWE live events but was pulled after being hurt while wrestling Asuka on Friday Night Smackdown.

There has been no concrete update on Flair beyond some being extremely concerned the knee injury could be fairly serious.”
