Bryan Danielson Suffered An Injury At Forbidden Door

By The Spotlight StaffJune 26, 2023
Bryan Danielson Suffered An Injury At Forbidden Door

Earlier this month, Bryan Danielson challenged Kazuchika Okada to a match to determine who is the better wrestler in the world. Okada accepted the challenge, and the match took place in the main event of last night’s Forbidden Door. Danielson put the Lebell Lock on Okada and win the match.

During AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door post-show media scrum, Bryan Danielson said that he fractured his right forearm ten minutes before the match finished. Doctors have informed Danielson that the injury will take 6-8 weeks to heal.

Danielson said that he was supposed to compete in this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite before the injury.

Last month, Bryan Danielson faced MJF in a 60-minute Iron Man match for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing. Danielson said that he suffered a torn labrum and compressed vertebrae during the match, which is why he hasn’t competed on AEW television in recent weeks.

The American Dragon came to the ring with Europe’s “Final Countdown” as his entrance theme. Danielson said that the song is very expensive to play.

Bryan Danielson also said that he likes to wrestle Tomohiro Ishii.
