Last month, Becky Lynch won the NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Tiffany Stratton on the September 12th episode of NXT. Becky then defended the title multiple times at live events.
Last night, The Man defended her NXT Women’s Title against Stratton in an Extreme Rules match at No Mercy. You can read the results of the show by clicking here. Both women used kendo sticks, chairs, a fire extinguisher, and even a barbed wire baseball bat during the match. In the end, Becky Lynch retained the title with a Manhandle Slam.
Becky Lynch sustained a laceration to her arm during the match. Sean Ross of Fightful reported that Becky got eleven stitches.
On Instagram, the NXT Women’s Champion posted several photos of the match including the injured arm. She also praised Tiffany for her performance.
