By The Spotlight StaffNovember 20, 2023
NJPW Comments On Will Ospreay Signing With AEW

This past Saturday, Will Ospreay appeared at Full Gear as the newest member of All Elite Wrestling. Ospreay is still under contract with NJPW until the first quarter of 2024. Therefore, he addressed the fans and said that he would start his AEW journey at the Revolution pay-per-view.

Will Ospreay stated during the AEW Full Gear media scrum that joining Tony Khan’s promotion is the best decision right now.

Today, the X account of NJPW Global issued a statement on Will Ospreay becoming a member of the AEW roster. They expect Ospreay will compete in both promotions. The post has now been deleted.

“New Japan Pro-Wrestling has high expectations and anticipation for Will Ospreay’s continued activities in both NJPW and All Elite Wrestling.

Fightful Select reported that the 30-year-old has signed a three-year deal with All Elite Wrestling.
