Young Bucks Reportedly Finished Up With Being The Elite

Last week, Young Bucks lost the AEW World Tag Team Titles opportunity after they were defeated by Golden Jets at Full Gear. Matt and Nick Jackson then expressed their frustration by destroying the equipment at ringside.

Recently, Young Bucks’ spokesperson, Brandon Cutler, stated on X that Matt and Nick Jackson will be taking time away from wrestling. Dave Meltzer reported that the former Tag Team Champions are planning to come back as heels. That’s not all, they also want to form a new heel faction along with Cutler and Colt Cabana.

In the Wrestling Observer’s Daily Update, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Being The Elite is officially done.

“BTE is not on hiatus, it’s actually done. As of this point in time, there are no plans to bring it back.”
