World Wrestling Entertainment signed a deal with Saudi Arabian Sports Authority in 2018. WWE agreed to hold two premium live events a year through 2027 in the Kingdom. The Saudi Government is paying between $50 million to $55 million for an event as part of the deal.
Last May, WWE held the Night of Champions PLE at the Jeddah Superdome, where Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens retained their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships by defeating Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in the main event.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that WWE’s next Saudi event will take place on Saturday, November 4th. Typically, WWE called their November Saudi event, Crown Jewel.
Last year, Roman Reigns defeated Logan Paul to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of Crown Jewel.
Yesterday, WWE announced that Survivor Series PLE will take place on Saturday, November 25th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL. You can read more details about upcoming live events by clicking here.
