This past Monday on RAW, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H unveiled the new World Heavyweight Championship.

As of now, there’s no word on which brand the World Heavyweight Championship represents. Triple H stated that either RAW or SmackDown brand will get the new championship following the 2023 WWE Draft. The new World Heavyweight Champion will be determined on Saturday, May 27th at Night Of Champion PLE.

Sports Illustrated reported that it was Triple H’s idea to introduce a new world title for the promotion. There are several superstars who deserve to be the new World Heavyweight Champion in WWE.

WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport that Seth Rollins is the current favorite to win the new World Heavyweight Championship.

“With the new title, I’ve heard he’s a very strong candidate to be the first guy. No doubt about it, Seth is your leading candidate.”
