WWE signed a few Japanese wrestlers in the past several years. However, some of them weren’t able to become top stars in the company.
Sarray joined WWE in 2020 but her debut was delayed due to the global pandemic. A year later, Sarray made her in-ring debut on the April 20th, 2021 episode of WWE NXT, where she defeated Zoey Starks.
WWE then changed Sarray’s character to a Japanese schoolgirl, which didn’t get attention from fans. Sarray last competed on the August 2nd, 2022 episode of WWE NXT, where she lost to Mandy Rose.
Tokyo Sports reported that the 26-year-old star is scheduled to leave WWE following her contract expiration. Sarray will be holding a press conference on March 13th to resume her in-ring career in Japan. She is scheduled to compete ‘Sarreee-ISM’ event on Tuesday, May 16th at Shinjuku Face.
