WWE SmackDown Star Dealing With Shoulder Injury

This past Friday, The Brawling Brutes lost to Austin Theory and Grayson Waller in a Tag Team match on SmackDown. However, Ridge Holland and Butch’s mentor, Sheamus wasn’t seen on WWE television.

The Celtic Warrior last competed on the August 18th episode of SmackDown, where he faced WWE Hall of Famer Edge. The Rated R Superstar chose Sheamus as his opponent to celebrate his 25th anniversary in WWE. Since then, Sheamus absent from WWE.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer noted that Sheamus is dealing with a shoulder injury.

“By the way, Sheamus, really bad shoulder injury. That’s why he has not been on TV or at house shows.”
