Last September, WWE and UFC merged to form TKO Group Holdings. WWE then released more than 100 employees as part of a workforce reduction. This included several top executives as well. The company also released Dolph Ziggler, Matt Riddle, Mustafa Ali, and several NXT and Performance Center talents.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that WWE has laid off more corporate employees today. However, Thurston did not reveal which departments were affected by today’s releases.
“WWE has laid off more corporate employees today, according to multiple people at the company.
This follows layoffs of more than 100 employees in September following the closing of the TKO merger.”
