This past Monday’s WWE RAW took place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest kicked off the show to celebrate their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships win last week.
Cody Rhodes interrupted Priest and challenged him to a match. Señor Money in the Bank told Cody that he would face him at Crown Jewel. Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio came to attack Cody. However, Jey Uso took out Dom. Eventually, Judgment Day was able to injure Cody’s leg.
The New Day defeated Alpha Academy in a Tag Team match.
Becky Lynch defeated Indi Hartwell to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.
Adam Pearce secured the signatures of Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Nia Jax for their Crown Jewel match. Rhea Ripley came to the ring and blamed Pearce for making the match into a Fatal Five-Way bout. Nia Jax grabbed the mic and delivered a fantastic promo. The segment ended with a huge brawl.
Johnny Gargano defeated Giovanni Vinci.
Logan Paul hyped his upcoming United States Championship match against Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio also joined him in the ring. The duo called Samantha Irvin to come to the ring. As a preview, Logan told Samantha to announce him as the winner. She refused to do it. Ricochet attacked The Maverick and Dirty Dom.
Piper Niven & Chelsea Green defeated Natalya & Nikki Cross in a Tag Team match.
Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn.
Bronson Reed defeated Akira Tozawa.
In the main event, Damian Priest defeated Jey Uso. Balor and Priest attacked Jey after the match. Cody Rhodes made the save.
According to Nielsen via SportsTVRatings, the October 23rd episode of WWE RAW drew an average of 1.476 million viewers on USA Network and did a 0.46 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
