WWE RAW Star Returns For The First Time In Two Months At Live Event

A Battle Royal took place on the May 15th episode of Monday Night RAW to determine the opponent for Gunther’s Intercontinental Title at Night of Champions PLE. Mustafa Ali won the match. The former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano also competed in the Battle Royal. Since then, Gargano disappeared from WWE television.

Last night, WWE held a SuperShow at the Hertz Arena in Fort Myers, Florida, where Johnny Gargano made his WWE return for the first time in two months. Gargano faced The Nigerian Giant Omos in a singles match. However, Gargano was unable to win the match.

Last December, the former NXT Champion suffered a shoulder injury. Later, Johnny Gargano revealed that he had sprained his AC joint. Gargano aggravated the injury a few times while competing on WWE television.
