Two years ago, Roman Reigns won the Universal Championship at Payback after defeating The Fiend and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match. Since then, Reigns became the most dominant superstar on the WWE main roster. The Tribal Chief defeated Brock Lesnar in a Winner Take All Title Unification match at WrestleMania 38 and continued his reign as an unstoppable heel.

Roman Reigns is now scheduled to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle this Saturday in Cardiff, Wales. Many fans already know that Reigns’ matches are predictable and WWE wanted to make him the longest reigning champion in the modern era.

However, WrestleVotes reported that there was a discussion held on Roman Reigns losing one of or both titles this Saturday at Clash at the Castle premium live event.

Recently, Roman Reigns stated that he would not be able to appear in every WWE show. That might be a reason for the creative discussion held regarding dropping the titles from Reigns. However, The Bloodline momentum would be seriously damaged if Roman Reigns lose his titles this Saturday. Also, it would largely affect The Rock vs. Roman Reigns match at WrestleMania 39.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
