Last month, Cody Rhodes was attacked by Brock Lesnar on the April 3rd episode of Monday Night RAW. Rhodes and Lesnar faced each other earlier this month at Backlash PLE, which was won by Rhodes.

Brock Lesnar then cost Cody Rhodes the opportunity to advance to the semi-finals in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament. The American Nightmare is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar in a rematch at Night of Champions PLE.

This past Monday on RAW, Brock Lesnar break Cody Rhodes’ arm twice on two different occasions. As per Kayfabe, Cody is competing this Saturday with a broken arm.

Recently, a rumor circulated that Cody Rhodes will be absent from WWE television for six to eight weeks after Night of Champions to sell the injury. Many fans thought he will miss this year’s Money in the Bank. However, that’s not the case.

WRKD Wrestling Reported that Cody Rhodes will compete in this year’s men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

“Nearly winning it ten years ago back in 2013, Cody Rhodes is expected to return as a competitor in the Money In The Bank match this year in London, England.”

Money in the Bank PLE is set to take place on Saturday, July 1st at O2 Arena in London, England.
