WWE Original Post-Royal Rumble Plan For Brock Lesnar Revealed

By The Spotlight StaffJanuary 29, 2024
WWE Original Post-Royal Rumble Plan For Brock Lesnar Revealed

This past Thursday, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, which resulted in his resignation from TKO Group as Executive Chairman and the Board of Directors.

Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar’s name was also associated with the lawsuit. Therefore, the company had to alter all of Lesnar’s plans leading up to WrestleMania.

Brock Lesnar was replaced by Bron Breakker in the Royal Rumble match, and he spent 5 minutes and 19 seconds in the Rumble. Breakker eliminated four competitors before being eliminated by Dominik Mysterio.

John Pollock of POST Wrestling reported that Brock Lesnar was supposed to have a match against Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber. The event is scheduled to take place on February 24th in Perth, Western Australia. As of now, there’s no word on when Lesnar will be back in WWE.

TKO Group executives are well aware that Brock Lesnar’s return is not beneficial to the company at this time.
