WWE NXT Star Suffered Broken Foot At Tapings

WWE NXT Star Suffered Broken Foot At Tapings

Several WWE NXT talents are currently sidelined with injuries. Javier Bernal is the latest wrestler to enter NXT’s injured list.

Bernal teamed up with Drake Morreaux to face Chase U’s Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne in a Tag Team match on this past Monday’s NXT Level Up tapings. Chase U picked up the victory. Unfortunately, Bernal injured his foot during the match.

In a Twitch stream, Javier Bernal announced that he broke his foot in multiple places and required surgery. Bernal said that he would be absent for at least six months.

“I broke my foot in a few places. It stinks; it is what it is. I found out — what is it? Two days ago that I broke it in a few places, and initially I was told that I probably wasn’t going to need surgery, but then, the next day, the M.R.I. was a little cloudy, and they looked at it, and it looks like I probably will have surgery on my foot. I was looking at six weeks with no surgery, and from what I understand, it’s looking like six months.”
