Cameron Grimes made his WWE debut on the July 3rd, 2019 episode of NXT, where he defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott. Grimes became the NXT North American Champion on April 2nd at NXT Stand & Deliver by defeating Carmelo Hayes. But his title reign ended on June 4th at NXT In Your House after losing to Hayes.
Grimes appeared on the October 17th episode of Monday Night RAW to hire Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows as his tag team partners to face The Schism’s Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid, and Rip Fowler in a six-man tag team match.
On this past Tuesday, after Ava Raine interfered in the match, Joe Gacy defeated Cameron Grimes. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer has reported that WWE planning to bring Cameron Grimes to the main roster soon.
“Cameron Grimes is supposed to go to the main roster. I was told he’s going to finish up with Joe Gacy and then go to the main roster.”
