WWE Day 1 All Winners & Losers The Spotlight Predictions

By The Spotlight StaffDecember 30, 2021
WWE Day 1 All Winners & Losers The Spotlight Predictions

The first-ever WWE Day 1 pay-per-view is schedule to take place tonight at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Eight matches are confirmed for the show. The pay-per-view will headline by Universal Champion Roman Reigns against Brock Lesnar. The Show begins at 8 p.m. ET and the kickoff show one hour prior to the main card at 7 p.m.

Let’s look at WWE Day 1 predictions.

Cesaro & Ricochet vs. Sheamus & Ridge Holland

This tag team match will take place in the kick off show. Our Prediction: Cesaro & Ricochet win the match.

Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss

McIntyre and Moss are set battle after Corbin and Moss trying to remove McIntyre’s sword Angela from a desk. After this match, Drew McIntyre should be in the title picture sooner rather than later. Our Prediction: Drew McIntyre wins the match

RK-Bro vs. The Street Profits for the RAW Tag Team Championship

RK-Bro is the hottest thing on Monday Night RAW in 2021. They are getting enough TV time and their segments are really entertaining. It’s unlikely Street Profits dethroning them at this point. Our Prediction: RK-Bro will retain their RAW Tag Team Titles.

Edge vs. The Miz

Miz needs to win this match to continue this storyline. It makes more sense adding Maryse and Beth Phoenix to their re-match. Our Prediction: The Miz wins the match.

The Usos vs.  New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship

Both teams have worked with each other countless times in the ring. It’s hard to predict this match because The Usos are involving with The Bloodline storyline. We hope this is the right time for Usos to drop the SmackDown Tag Titles. Our Prediction: The Usos will retain their SmackDown Tag Titles.

Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan for the RAW Women’s Championship

This the wrong time for Liv Morgan to win the RAW Women’s Title. I’ll tell you why. If WWE wants to make Liv Morgan a champion, she should win the Royal Rumble match and challenging Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s title at WrestleMania 38. Becky playing her character so well. If she losses to Liv at Day one that will ruin her momentum. Our Prediction: Becky Lynch retains her RAW Women’s Championship.

Big E vs. Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship

This is the time for Big E to prove he’s a fighting champion. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley all three superstars are former world champions. It makes no sense to take the title off from Big E. WWE has set him up in the right situation to allow him to move forward as a champion with many challengers. Our Prediction: Big E retains his WWE Championship.

Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship

Roman Reigns is weeks away from surpassing Lesnar’s record-setting 504-day run as Universal champion. WWE wants Roman Reigns to be the greatest Universal Champion of all time. So, they keep the title on Reigns. Paul Heyman fired by Roman Reigns on SmackDown could just be a trick to costing Lesnar his Universal title match. Our Prediction: Roman Reigns retains his Universal Championship.
